I started driving with Say back in January 2013 after my sister had recommended him and passed with him first time! I had already done a practical and many tests before hand and been driving for three years but as soon as he saw me drive he identified the problem and corrected it within a few weeks! He broke me out of my bad habits and taught me how to drive not how to pass! After two attempts and fails at the practical test with him I was sure there was something wrong with me but he always kept positive and made me feel confident. Before I started with him I was a bit of a wuss but now my confidence is soaring and I am so thankful I had his support through the ups and downs. I cannot thank him enough! He is an excellent driver, a superb teacher and an amazing friend! He will make you feel calm, relaxed and most of all like you are enjoying your time whilst driving! He will never rip you off and always has your best intentions at heart. So thank you Say for giving me a gift that no one else could - I will remember your teaching forever!

I've just passed my driving test frist time today after 23 hours of brilliant lesson time. Say is always enthusiastic, positive and friendly. Above all he is REALLY patient. His teaching leaves you full of confidence after every lesson and he's always ready with constructive comments to help you along to become a confident and competent driver. He's reliable, always punctual, and flexible so he'll pick you up and drop you off wherever is convenient for you. I would like to thank Say again for his unending patience, honesty and encouragement, I couldn't have done it without him.

Well where's to start.... As soon as I turned 17 I wanted to drive, so I went straight to Say, recommended on behalf of my sisters. He taught my 2 sisters and they passed instantly and with confidence. I knew I was in the right hands then and then now after 7 months I have passed first time. And not at any moment did I feel under pressure with him teaching me, yes I had the occasional bad lesson but many good ones, but my head never went down and Say never gave up and he sure made me laugh as I was learning. BEST INSTRUCTOR EVER!!! I totally Recommend!!!

If you are looking for a driving instructor and don’t know who to choose – then look no further. I passed my test first time on 16 April 2013; something I never thought I would ever achieve, let alone on the first attempt. Say had confidence in me and knew I would do it no matter how much I doubted myself, which after having 3 cancelled tests, was pretty often.
I picked Say as he was the only instructor that had up to date information on his website for his prices, statistics on pass rates and customer feedback.
As a more mature learner (mid 30’s!!), I was quite anxious about learning to drive and worried he would think there was something wrong with me because I had never learned before. Its true, I didn’t even know what, or where, the clutch was! Say had to literally start with the basics … and he had his work cut out !! As an instructor, he is harsh but fair and annoyingly right … all the time! Say teaches his students how to drive properly, and not just to pass the driving test.
Say is flexible and will pick you up / collect you from anywhere that suits you. I would often change pick up points at short notice and he would be there. Nothing was too much trouble.
Some memories from my time with Say …
As I waited anxiously for my first lesson, I could hear loud music getting closer and closer to the house … then the car appeared! And so it continued … every weekend morning, I heard the car radio in the distance before the car pulled up! Lesson three, he made me buy ‘pumps’! I haven’t worn pumps since I was a young girl. He banned me from wearing anything other than those pumps. The pumps were destroyed at 18.00 hours on Tuesday, 16 April in a ceremony involving champagne!

I passed my driving test 1st time yesterday after several months of learning with Say. I would just like to thank him the support that he gave me, even when I wasn't always taking heed to what he was saying! He really knows what he's doing when it comes to teaching and I would strongly recommend him to anyone that wants to become a competent driver as well as passing their test first time! I passed my driving test first time today with 3 minors and I know it was all down to Say's great teaching and support, even at times when I'm sure he must have been exasperated deep down (when trying to complete a reverse around the corner for the 5th time in a row). However, he was never anything but patient and helpful, especially in comparison to stories of other driving instructors. He made me have the confidence in myself to pass my test and left me with a huge amount of knowledge to make sure I would not be faced with anything that I could not cope with. I would recommend him to anyone who wishes to learn to drive because he gives exactly the support you need, when you need it. Not only this, but he is a person to whom nothing would be too much trouble for, being dropped off at school, or my house, and is genuinely interested in your progress. Thank you so much, it will be strange to no longer have driving lessons with you!

Passed my driving test today.I would like to say that Say is an excellent teacher and mentor with a plethora of experience in teaching people to drive. From my time with Say I have found him to be both friendly and patient whilst having the expertise to spot any flaws or faults in your driving and the knowledge of how to correct them. Honestly if you are looking for a quality driving instructor, Say is the way!
