YOUR DRIVING LESSONS

Learning to drive is not as difficult as most people think, provided a methodical teaching plan is followed.

IDT have hundreds of Driving Instructors with years of experience in giving driving lessons to all age groups.

In order to start taking driving lessons, you must be 17 years of age and hold a valid provisional driving licence. more>>

The most commonly asked question is ‘how many lessons will I need?’ The DSA website says that on average, learners need roughly 45 hours of professional driving tuition along with some additional private practice. more>>

We all know everyone learns at a different rate, so this is only a guide. IDT will teach you at your own pace, whether it is at a blistering speed or nice and steady.

With our structured teaching plan, you will learn to drive in the fewest possible lessons, whilst still reaching the highest levels of safe driving.

Each lesson will start with a recap of what was achieved on the previous driving lesson.

This is followed by setting achievable goals and objectives for the lesson that day.

At the end of the driving lesson, we will analyse what was achieved, and fill in the IDT booklet to monitor your continuing progress.

The lessons topics will be as follows:
